This recipe is an easy and quick way of preparing cabbage this could be a nice side dish, next to rice and it is healthy and good way of eating your vegetables too.
Ingredients:
- 1 small head cabbage, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 carrots grated
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 chilli peper, to taste
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 table spoon cilantro, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Heat the oil on a medium heat, add the onion sauté for 3-5 minutes until soft.
- Add the cabbage and carrots and the chili and stir-fry until the cabbage is soft.
- Stir in coriander, cumin, cilantro, lemon, season with salt and pepper until combined.
- Lower the heat and cook until the cabbage is cooked through.
