This appetizing curry cauliflower recipe is healthy and delicious and it is another way of eating your cauliflower, you can eat it with rice or with some bread.
Ingredients:
- 1 head of cauliflower chopped
- 1 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 table spoon ginger
- 2 small tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 ½ cups of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a large pan heat the oil over medium heat, add the onions sauté for few minutes.
- Add the curry , coriander, turmeric, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, cilantro, cauliflower, and season with salt and pepper.
- Stir until all veggies are incorporated. Add water and simmer until a boil then simmer on a low heat, continue to cook covered until the cauliflower is tender.
This sounds very good but should I use fresh or powdered ginger?
If it’s fresh should I use chopped or grated ginger?
Use the fresh Ginger you can either grate or chop.
