Ingredients
- 2 cups adzuki bean
- salt
for serving
- sugar
- sesame oil
- Milk
Instructions
- Rinse the beans and soak with water and let it sit for overnight, to reduce cooking time.
- Drain the beans and rinse again , in a saucepan boil beans and water, bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium to low, partially, or fully covered as long as it doesn't over follow, keep an eye on it, and cook 30-40 minutes.
- I you decide to add the rice you can add it in the last 10-15 minutes for the rice to be cooked.
- Continue to simmer until the rice is cooked.
- Serve with sugar and sesame oil and milk.
